Central Jersey Flag (CJF) began as Montgomery Flag Football in 2005 and is affiliated with NFL FLAG Football, a five-on-five non-contact football format played by boys and girls worldwide.


DO I HAVE TO LIVE IN CENTRAL NEW JERSEY TO SIGN UP?
Whether or not you believe Central Jersey exists, all players who can make it to our fields in Montgomery Township, NJ are welcome to join! League participants come from over 30 different towns throughout central New Jersey, from Flemington to East Windsor, and from Basking Ridge to Lawrenceville.  


WHO COACHES THE TEAMS?
The league relies upon volunteer coaches to be successful. The number of allowed registrations in each division depends upon the field space available AND the number of volunteer coaches that sign up.


WHEN WILL THE TEAMS PRACTICE AND PLAY?

Winter Season at Iron Peak, Hillsborough
Schedule is based on availability at Iron Peak. Registration opens in late October/early November. The season runs for six weeks in January and February, only. There are no weekly practices. 

Spring Season at Mill Pond Park, Montgomery
Registration opens in January. The season opens in April and plays one game per week on Sundays. All practices are a half hour preceding the game, only. The season is expected to end in mid-June.  

Fall Season at Mill Pond Park, Montgomery
Registration opens at the start of July. The season opens in September (after Labor Day) and plays one game per week on Saturday. All practices are a half hour preceding the game, only. The season is expected to end by the beginning of November.
